We have a new phonological awareness activity in our Teachers Pay Teachers store! This 30-page resource includes simple puzzles for rhyming, blending, syllable counting, and more! While there is some prepping, it’s pretty quick and can even be done by your students. If you want a reusable resource, there are directions below!
These activities are great for push-in therapy, especially if you do push-in for an entire Kindergarten class, for example. Purchase it on Teachers Pay Teachers HERE!
The following targets are included:
- initial alliteration (words that start with the same sound)
- final alliteration (words that end with the same sound)
- syllable segmentation (counting syllables)
- phoneme blending
- phoneme segmenting
- initial phoneme substitution
- final phoneme substitution
If you want a reusable, prep-once-use-forever version of this resource, laminate and cut the pieces out. Then use velcro dots to attach the pieces. These can be used over and over! Store in a binder and keep the small pieces in a zippered pencil pouch or ziploc bag. These also work great for interactive notebooks! Purchase it HERE
